BERTIL LUNDBERG - Oil on Canvas

Printmaker and teacher, born 1922 to a Danish father and Swedish mother, brought up in Skania by his grandmother. Bertil became an apprentice at a block-makers in Malmö, Sweden. He later became a member of the Imaginists, a group influenced by Dada and Surrealism. His first exhibition was at the Imaginist gallery Colibri in Malmö 1954. He taught at and was a founder of the Grafiskolan Forum in Malmö, 1964-1994.
