Hi, I'm Valerie, the owner of Found & Foundation.

Art has always been my thing. As a kid it was the one class I actually loved — making things, using my hands, the joy of creating something from nothing.

Twenty-four years in advertising deepened that. Working alongside exceptional artists, photographers, and creative thinkers every day has a way of refining your eye — for technique, for composition, for the qualities that make a piece genuinely great. I learned to recognize skilled work when I see it.

Then I started buying it. And I couldn't stop.

Found & Foundation is what happens when a trained eye meets an obsessive hunt. I source original art and full artist portfolios every day, photograph each piece, and find them homes where they'll spark joy for years.

Beyond its online storefront, Found and Foundation provides bespoke art curation services for hotels, restaurants, and private residences, crafting visual environments that tell stories through texture, form, and history. We also conducts complete art collection buyouts, working with estates, collectors, and living artists to preserve and elevate their creative legacies.
