Jane Matteson remains a bit of a mystery. She appears to be from Chicago, IL and studied alongside many artists.

We are offering a collection of her works, dating back to the 1960s, comprised of etchings, woodcuts, pastels, pencil drawings, charcoal drawings, woodcuts, linocuts, serigraphs, watercolors, and oils.

There are a series of pieces from Jane's artist peers and friends. Some pieces were signed and gifted to her and others she collected. The pieces provide a view into their world and their exploration and mastery of many art mediums.
