Selenite is a soft, clear, crystalline form of the mineral gypsum that is named after the Greek goddess of the moon, Selene. It is known for its translucent, luminous appearance and is used in various applications, including home decor, metaphysical practices for energy cleansing, and historical uses like window panes. Other varieties of gypsum, such as satin spar and desert rose, are also sometimes referred to as selenite. 

• Can add a light inside if desired or use as a decorative object.
